The inflammatory nonesense in Weaver's puling screed points to why so many have no trust at all for Sanders, and continue in the conviction he means to make trouble when the convention commences. If Weaver continues in Sanders' employ after this, and Sanders does not repudiate his statements, and declare his satisfaction with the reasonable action of the New York board, he will have given solid evidence of bad faith, and made it hard to argue against the proposition he intends to make trouble down the line.

7. Sanders can't have it both ways. If he needs to win

delegates he can just resume his campaign. Sanders can run or not run, he can't do both. Reprising his destructive 2016 act is just a non-starter this year.

He is almost a tragic figure. He showed up in 2016 in a situation other people had crafted and seeded for decades, with their work reinforced by deeply grained social and cultural prejudices, prejudices of the most retrograde sort, and the support given him in this fortuitous circumstance, really for no better reason than that he came equipped a dick, albeit one of indeterminate size, Sanders mistook for proof his life-long dream had come true, that he really was the charismatic figure he'd always imagined could lead the white working class to socialist revolution. If he hadn't done so much damage, it would be sad. As it is, it's just pathetic.
