I can't remember who it was, but I was watching an interview with this person who was discussing the 2016 election. In the Q&A portion at the end, a question came up about Jill Stein.

His answer was (paraphrasing), "Well, of course her campaign was funded by the Russians."

He’s actually had a regular show on RT which is a propaganda arm of the Putin govt and has said Putin is not a dictator, is a good guy etc. Ventura is a Russian asset. Throughly compromised. And the Green Party is funded by Russia.

Funny thing, for about the first year or so after he was unexpectedly elected Governor of Minnesota (the major party candidates were totally meh), he wasn't all that bad at it. He made some good judicial appointments and generally seemed to be trying to do a good job. But before long he started getting into squabbles with the local media because he didn't like being criticized. Apparently he didn't understand that politicians always get criticized, and after all the love he'd received from the national press for his surprising victory he wasn't ready for it. Things went downhill after that - his ego ballooned and he started doing and saying dumb things and pissing everybody off. Since he had been a third-party candidate he had little support in the legislature from either major party so he was on his own. Politically he was kind of a small-l libertarian but not with the Ayn Rand overtones, since he did favor most social programs. But he was just too goofy to be taken seriously, and he's become even weirder since. I don't think even the Greens would want him.

the State went nuts and elected him as Gov. Brooklyn Park was a mess for years after he left.

And yes,his ego was a nightmare. And he was one of the reasons we lost the 6 th district to Bachnman. Jesse in just Trump light.

people who would vote for Jesse would be Republicans who were disenchanted with DT. They wouldn't want to go so far as voting for a Democrat, but they could vote for an Independent. I just don't see any Dems voting for him because he's as much of an egotist as DT & they're sick of that. One thing that adds to the likelihood of a BIden win is a split vote on the Pub side.

really could use a name they can remember to vote their delusions, anti-Democratic spite, or just general nuttery.

I noticed on a fringe forum recently that those angrily vowing to never lower themselves to vote Democrat assumed they'd probably vote Green, though not one had any idea of who that'd be. What's important to them of course is that they have a chance to act out by helping reelect Republicans -- without needing to reach within for the honesty to do it right.

Such an appropriate candidate, too: One of their own and a natural match. But Wrestling World says it's just an unfounded rumor.

Say it isn't so, Jesse! Say it isn't SO!

Just to help, the move is a Suplex. When first used in Greco-Roman wrestling, it was referred to in French. So, SOO-PLAY.
In more modern times, the pro wrestling world changed it to SOO-PLEX, anglicizing the pronunciation.
I only know this stuff because in college I knew 2 guys who were good enough to have gotten invited to the Trials in Greco-Roman for the 1976 Olympics. Neither made the team, even as an alternate.
But, I learned more about wrestling than I ever wanted to know. Helped that were both very nice guys.
