They've now resorted to "Well, he didn't literally tell us to inject ourselves with Lysol, so..."

That's their latest defense.

He didn't actually use the words "Lysol" or "bleach", ergo his rampant crazy ass medical speculation from the podium is okey-dokey and not at all reckless, even though half his base thinks the virus was developed in lab so that Bill Gates could implant us with microchips.

IMPORTANT CORRECTION: The president was not advocating that people inject Lysol. Lysol is a brand-name product and he was speaking about disinfectant more broadly!
