This is legitimately crazy. This is people I know, on my social media, who used to not be crazy people.

A week ago they were saying "heart disease kills more people". I finally got them to stop saying that since Sars-Cov-2 is America's leading cause of death at this moment.

Now it's "the mortality rate is really low if you're under 70 and not obese", and I don't even know what to do with that.

"Yes, a lot of people are dying, but many of them are old and fat"? #*&$ing functioning adults are saying this, with their names attached to it?

2. Strange times bring out strange things in people

I would have thought that the MAGATs would be the most scared of the pandemic. I mean, they’re the ones who need guns because they always fear someone is going to break into their house. They’re survivalists and they fear anyone who isn’t White.
