Empathy is for saps.
There's no "common good". What matters is how much you can grab for yourself, your neighbors and fellow Americans be Damned.
Now we've gotten to the only logical place that could lead us.
An amoral asswipe without one single shred of human decency inside him in charge of the executive branch of our country.
Cruelty and selfishness is not a glitch... it's a policy.
It's why we have a Senate majority leader during a pandemic declaring that Blue States should get screwed over. The fact that his state is first in line for disaster relief caused by floods, storms and drought doesn't matter. Selfishness and cruelty is the policy.
Have you seen the people at these "please murder my children for a 5 point pop in the Stock Market" open 'er up protests? They'd sacrifice you and your families for a fucking massage and manicure... and it wouldn't give them a second thought. They'd just move on to the next cruelty.
I hate Donnie Shit for Brains with a burning passion, but he's nothing without the amphibian turds that voted for him and support him.
40+ years of CONservative policies, ethics and morals, combined with 40 years of Hate Radio and Faux News has turned a large segment of our population into lifeless, souless, immoral drones... just buzzing around in their "rugged individualism" looking for the next enemy to hate and the next thing they can snatch up for themselves.
They've been told that the reason their miserable lives suck, and they will work until they drop dead without a pot to piss in is because of "others".
They would walk over a toddler to get the last package of toilet paper, and then they would bitch that they got blood on their shoes.
Deplorable was too kind a word.
The sooner Democrats wake up to what we are dealing with, the sooner we can stop pretending that there is some kind of bipartisan Nirvana that can be achieved with these people...
The sooner we can stop saying; "we're all in this together"
