Its not "The American Economy" that these fucknuts are worried about...

Think about how long we have had an 'economy' in this country / colonies.

Pretty much from the beginning, yes?

Through a revolution. A civil war. Through WWI. Through the 1918 Flu. Through the Depression. Through WW2. Vietnam. 9/11. 2008.

Our economy has been through a lot worse shit than this and has always, at the end of it, emerged through that pipe from the prison, we rip off that stinky shirt and we thank the gods for the rain that is washing all that crap off of you.......

Sorry was watching shawshank redemption.

Anyway.

these assholes aren't concerned about 'the economy'. They are worried about their own economy, all the wealth they pilfered and hoarded the last 30 years.

More than anything else they are worried about BECOMING POOR!!!!!!

have you seen what its like to be poor in america? compared to denmark? it really sucks.

you know who made it that way? rich people! them! the guys screaming for us to get back to work.

Fuck em. Let em see what its like to be poor first hand just like millions of others that they spit on.

If nothing else, if they pray loud enough maybe Jesus will come and fix all this.

Sixteen Tons

You load sixteen tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

This song was famous in its day and was written about poor coal miners who could never get ahead because the wealthy mine owners kept them indebted to the coal companies.

They were often paid in script that was only good at the company run stores. They rented their clapboard shanties from the mine company, and bought food from the company store. The mine owners had a sweetheart deal where they paid very little for labor and then forced the workers to return a chunk of their earnings back to their rich bosses. It was an obscene transfer of wealth to some of the richest people in the country.

Now here we are again with low wages that don't support people, no benefits and no job security while the wealthy business owners and investors are demanding more productivity and cutting hours.

After seeing how this pandemic has affected every part of life as we knew it, It's time for a change.

It is truly heartbreaking to see the long lines of vehicles waiting for food from food banks. How many of these vehicles will be repossessed, I wonder? People are DESPERATE, and it is all tRump's fault. 100%. Had he done the job he THINKS he is qualified for, he would have jumped right on this epidemic months ago, before so many lives were lost. People around him were as clueless as he is. This is what happens when a TV entertainer, and his family think they can run this country, better than anyone before them. Total destruction. They are busy lining their own pockets, and have no clue as to how REAL people, HONEST people live. I read about a nurse telling us that a patient came into her emergency room on a stretcher. Struggling to breathe he was asking "Who is going to PAY for this?" Only in America, right? His wife will be getting the bills, THAT'S who will pay. It's the American way.

I think a more apt description would be "vulture" capitalists. Or, "venturing vulture" capitalists!

We responded to this crisis with socialism, they're worried that Americans will want the same protections we are getting now going forward. And many of those that are still working are being paid more, they're worried that people will demand this.

And they're worried about health care changing. It's a cash cow for the ruling class, people now see it as a right.

And re-election of Trump is all they really care about so he can take away the rights of the workers and make sure all the money keeps going to the top 1%.
