Right-wing commentators Diamond and Silk, who host a Fox News program and are surrogates for President Donald Trumps reelection campaign, have been pushing a conspiracy theory that 5G towers are fueling coronavirus infections.
In a livestream posted on platforms like Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook, they have speculated that 5G -- the fifth generation of mobile technology thats being rolled out across the world -- can throw your body off and mess with your genetics. They also asked whether somebody has the power to turn things on and off to make sure that certain things go down so those hospital beds can be filled.
Diamond and Silk (whose names are Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson) host a show for Fox News streaming service Fox Nation. They also co-chair the Trump campaigns Black Voices for Trump advisory board and are members of its Women for Trump advisory board. They additionally make regular appearances at Trump campaign rallies and in campaign videos despite Foxs stated policy that talent arent allowed to participate in campaign events.
...
Later during the livestream, Diamond claimed that hospitals are empty -- a reference to the empty hospitals conspiracy theory -- and wondered if somebody could use 5G technology to infect people to ensure that those hospital beds can be filled.

From a couple of weeks ago:
On Wednesday, "Diamond & Silk" posted a tweet. "The only way we can become immune to the environment; we must be out in the environment," the duo declared. "Quarantining people inside of their houses for extended periods will make people sick!"
Twitter promptly took action against the tweet for violating its rules against coronavirus misinformation. The suggestion from the Fox News personalities is clearly dangerous. People should not be "out in the environment." Twitter required the two to remove the tweet in order to regain access to their account.
But while Twitter was the responsible outlet and declined to allow "Diamond & Silk" to spread their hazardous misinformation on its platform, Fox News fell silent. I sent a Fox News spokesperson requests for comment on the duo's Wednesday tweet. I never heard back. Apparently the request was not even worth a reply.
That's how far down the rabbit hole we are. Where two fairly prominent Fox News personalities who have been elevated on numerous occasions by the President and Republican lawmakers can promote wild conspiracy theories and dangerous misinformation and it does not even merit a response from the network's public relations office.

If they think 5G is that bad... they need to lead by example.

From what I read, 5G is using the same frequencies at far lower power, as what we used to call UHF TV.
There were stations running 10s of thousands of watts, for decades. It didn't cause CV then!
