Maryland Acquires 500K COVID-19 Tests From Labs In South Korea

Maryland Acquires 500K COVID-19 Tests From Labs In South Korea, Gov. Hogan To Make Formal Announcement At 2 PM

The New York Times is reporting that the tests come after Gov. Hogan and his wife, “a Korean immigrant who speaks fluent Korean” helped secure the final deal with two labs to sell Maryland the tests.

So far, about 71,000 coronavirus tests have been administered in the state.

The governor and his wife will make the formal announcement at 2 p.m. in Annapolis, Ricci said.

Good thing they didn’t make the announcement until after they were received and secured.

...our republican governor pushing past Trump to get our state what it needs.

Hogan is somehow flying under the radar, despite his role as head of the Natl. Governor's Association.

The FDA approved the tests as the plane was in the air. Had they not done so, Hogan was prepared to distribute them anyway. He and his wife personally greeted the flight and gave state coins to the crew. (There were no passengers)
