Maryland Acquires 500K COVID-19 Tests From Labs In South Korea, Gov. Hogan To Make Formal Announcement At 2 PM
The New York Times is reporting that the tests come after Gov. Hogan and his wife, a Korean immigrant who speaks fluent Korean helped secure the final deal with two labs to sell Maryland the tests.
So far, about 71,000 coronavirus tests have been administered in the state.
The governor and his wife will make the formal announcement at 2 p.m. in Annapolis, Ricci said.

Hogan is somehow flying under the radar, despite his role as head of the Natl. Governor's Association.

The FDA approved the tests as the plane was in the air. Had they not done so, Hogan was prepared to distribute them anyway. He and his wife personally greeted the flight and gave state coins to the crew. (There were no passengers)
