....as far as I can without filling up.

We bought a new car for my wife on February 11 (69 days ago). She reached 400 miles on it this weekend. That's an average of 6 miles a day. Unheard of in our "normal" life.

6. I feel like renting an RV and touring the USA.

Load it up with enough food to last a month (I don't eat much) and wave goodbye. Roads would have a lot less traffic and since the RV would have a bed and potty, there'd be no need for motels or rest areas. No need to stop for anything except to buy gas and get some sleep.

dump stations, and I would expect that a lot of RV parks that cater to travelers (as opposed to people who pretty much live there long term) may be closed due to lack of business.
