Do we know for a fact that people who have recovered from the virus have

become reinfected? Has that been documented or are these just cases about someone who hadn't been fully recovered?

If those reports are true, then it would debunk any claims about building up immunity.

This would be bad as it would indicate vaccines won't work. But they aren't sure yet, this is still pretty new.

Positive for 40 days now with no symptoms. They are a husband and wife. My friend’s adult daughter has been sick for 2 weeks with all the symptoms and tested negative although her dr believes she has it. My friend is taking care of her 4 yr old grandson because she doesn’t know if her daughter has it or not.

aren't very reliable and there are very high rates of both false positives and false negatives. As high as 30% each.

But if you mean testing positive but asymptotic, I guess you could call that a false positive, though it's not technically.

False negatives are common with PCR
