The stupidity is real folks! (Not to mention selfishness & willful ignorance)

I'm so goddamned embarrassed that some of them are from Michigan. And I wonder if that woman whining about "not wanting government handouts" refused her stimulus check.

I have been reading stories about people who have died from COVID0-19. I have also watched several, technical explanations about the complications, organ failure, and other gruesome details. Not only will there be a death toll, but there are people who survive who may have long-term scarring and implications from a severe case.

I am saddened. I was chiding these people and they should be reminded as to how ignorant their choice is to congregate like that. However, this is just becoming a pathetic and needless march right into what we were trying to prevent together. So, my compassion is getting the best of me because, no matter how immature and pathetic, belligerent and misguided these people are, it is going to lose its excitement and vigor within a few weeks as they create dozens of new vectors and increase the spread, sickening themselves and others and increasing the death toll dramatically. I am sure they will be devastated in many ways for this and that's really heartbreaking, regardless. They are people, too.

Yes, I realize that they are also going to spread it to innocents who did not participate. That's a travesty as well. My wish is that after the freedumb rallies show their negative results, that will get them to stop and follow the guidelines for as long as is necessary.

Contrarians do the opposite of what you tell them, sometimes even when it is sound advice concerning health as well as a grave matter of life and death. Some of those folks will be gasping for freedom unto their last breath in a short period of time. Farewell!

Yup, like defiant kids.

I may just be very sensitive right now. It's more of a deep, lasting feeling rather than the thoughts about it. I guess it's the times.

Thanks!

I am sensitive right now, too, but in opposute end on continuum. 😊

I know what you mean, though. Dump is using them to create chaos & their & their families' lives are endangered doing this.

I wonder if any of them thought beforehand about who will provide & care for their orphaned kids if they catch this & die? Nah.

Needless suffering ahead. That is the sad part.

I think part of the problem is not thinking things through or even thinking about the ramifications. Impulsive behavior like that reminds me of reckless adolescent behavior. Mature adults learn to self-regulate their behaviors, even in a crisis and can be more rational about potential outcomes.

I said to many people that what was going to kill us on this was "rugged individualism". There are people who just refuse to listen to what they are being told. Fear of science, the cult, all that but there are people who are really blind followers who are told they are being rebels. I knew it.

So many deaths of people trying to prove that their higher power gives them a shield that non-believers don't have.
