These people protesting the governors aren't protesting against inequality...

They aren't protesting against living paycheck to paycheck.

They aren't protesting against precarious existence.

They aren't protesting against joblessness.

They aren't protesting against the lack of public spaces and public goods.

They aren't protesting against the things that were all too real for far too many Americans even before COVID hit.

They are protesting because Trump said something and these governors said something else. It's as simple as that.

1. They are scared

They are scared because they see everything they desire going away.

Scared, because they owe money and fearful of the consequences. They don't have the resources to pay that mortgage, car note, credit card.

Scared, because if there job goes out of business they will never find another. They know the odds of a 50 + something getting a job.

Scared, because with out work, they have no health care.

Scared because, they have defined themselves by what they do and have, not what they are.

They are scared, angry, selfish, and in denial. I believe that many of them are scared of an America (that never was) is going away. The America of Leave it to Beaver. The America they thought they would receive and never did. The same people who blame the "other" for all there ills rather than a system stacked against them. You know them, the ones who are not better off or the same as there parents. The ones who believe that its the immigrants who took there jobs, that believe that all we need is to bring back manufacturing (not happening, oh and its being automated). The Americans who yell about boot straps. These are the same people who supported it (he who shall not be named) to the highest office in the land because of this anger. The ones who's anger is going to destroy this county, and the earth. Yes some of "its" supporters are the 1% looking for more, but the majority are just angry idiots looking for a simple solution in a complex wold.

again it's fear motivating them, that and being fed nothing but lies and simple solutions to complex problems by certain media outlets.
