There Is Going to Be a Wind Down of Social Distancing, But Watch Trump Screw It Up

When cases begin to taper off, we should be able to ease back into operation. Perhaps start off with road construction crews as they are in some places here, since this is a great opportunity to do the work that would otherwise create a huge traffic jam or bottleneck that would undercut social distancing.

However, Trump is already screwing this up by trying to make it a partisan issue with folks protesting and demanding an immediate end to social distancing without any plan. Thus, rather than manage and minimize exposure, Trump's actions are likely to cause a second spike, which Trump will once again blame on everyone else.

It is almost as if we have a domestic terrorist as President who is doing his best to disrupt and undermine the U.S. The 9/11 Terrorists could only dream of killing over 30 thousand people and causing millions of people to be unemployed while also undercutting the precious freedom and rights that the GOP claims to be defending.

Ordering groceries for pickup and distancing. Imo, winding down now will bring on a second, disastrous wave. We can't take the chance.

I hope I'm wrong.

But Trump still seems to be dragging his feet Hurricane Maria style, because he really does not want to know how widespread the disease is. Taiwan, Germany, South Korea have managed to gradually wind down and function, but you can't do so in a chaotic fashion.
