I like the idea of the Northeast States joining together.

Lets start making our own stuff for each other. A regional Medical care for all. Maybe expand it from Maryland up to the great lakes. The west coast could do the same thing. Wonder how the red states would like living without blue state money?
Seems it is always New York that gets sucker punched and knocked on its ass. We always get up. If you don't like us we don't care. Our parents and grand parents are dying. Fuck y'all who are out protesting and being a danger to yourself and others. You should be sprayed.

but now from MA. I don't have the energy required to care anymore about what other states choose to do. Live and let live, but keep your shit to yourself.

Only thing that will stop it is the election of Joe Biden as president.

This election will have the same significance as November 1860.

First one province, and the rest followed suit once they saw how inexpensive and economical it was to cover everyone with at least "the basics". As time went on, they tweaked it so it covered more people and was as equitable as possible for nearly everyone. Oh, there may be individual problems, especially for those "better off" who don't understand the concept of commons, but there isn't the huge gaping cracks in health care we see in the US.

Incrementalism. That's how most countries do it.

And even Republicans are beginning to understand we need a Universal health care system.
