Unemployment insurance flat increase of US$600 a week in addition to normal UI. This is greater than 100% of salary for most people. This lasts until July 31st, which is over 4 full months from when the law was passed.
UK is paying BUSINESSES, not people, 80% of their employee's salaries (up to 2500 GBP, ~US$3100) if they don't lay them off. The program lasts until the end of June.
Denmark is paying BUSINESSES, not people, 75% of their employee's salaries (up to 4k euros, ~US$3500) if they don't lay them off. The program lasts until June 9th.
Canada is sending workers affected by the coronavirus shutdown CAN$2000 for 4 months (US$1400).
Why don't you do even a little bit of fact checking before assuming it's true?
The US stimulus and support is better than all of these other responses.
