Fast forward four years and what do we see in Germany 1936? It was an election year that year with parliamentary elections being held in March with a single party list for the new Reichstag composed wholly of Nazis and supposedly independent ‘guests’ of the party. Of course, there was a yuge turnout of 99% *rolls eyes* and, surprise surprise, the Nazi’s won by a massive majority in a tremendously lopsided result. Trump would love to be able to pull this off in America. He literally would think this is an excellent plan, which would prove to one and all that he has the devotion of his people.

This is how quickly a democracy can die.

November cannot be more important. They cannot nobble the vote to Germany 1936 extent this year. But in another 4 years, if they retain power? Anything is possible. Now I am not saying that Trump is Hitler. Yet. But if he gets another 4 years then can I suggest that the comparison may not be far of the mark. Think of Hitler in 1940 but with Trump having weaponised Covid-19 against states and communities he sees as the enemy, having captured authoritarian powers as the economy collapses, rather than invading countries and opening up more concentration camps. It is unthinkable that this could be allowed to happen.

When you have total corporate control, all laws and benefits become the purview of the wealthy. If Trump has four more years, he will complete the transformation of the Supreme Court into a Republican Party Court and we will see the establishment of the Republican Party as the permanent majority party and the end of our democratic republic. We will not regain it in what is left of my life. This is why we need everyone to vote in November, however and wherever we can. I think more people are angry at Trump’s incompetence now, but his approval ratings are still too high. Far too many people think only off today and not the implications for the future of democracy if Trump is reelected.

and subsequent special elections. We're winning a high percentage. We're not overperforming. We're simply showing up.

I do take your post seriously, but to play Devil's advocate explain how Trump makes this happen. His abysmal ratings. COVID-19. Democrats uniting. Wisconsin voters on fire even as asked to confront the COVID fear. I mean things are going right for us. This was not the case in 2016. Democratic voters and their ticket were not the political animals we see this year.

Russia, Russia. I get that. But Americans are aware now, as few were in 2016. Russians are spotted easily. I know Ukraine & Biden. Well, attaching scandal to Biden looks now like what it is - manufactured bullshit. Medical problems of old candidates? Trump's very old for is age, and can hardly breathe. Congestive mind failure if I ever saw one.

So in my view COVID-19 cancelling the elections is Trump's play. Maybe that's his plan - make the pandemic as bad as possible by Election Day so everyone has to stay home. No wonder he's fighting mail order ballots.

7. He can't win in a fair and free election

... so he knows he has to cheat. He has to suppress voting, he has to scare people into voting for him or not voting at all. This is in addition to all the election-year hype that we're used to seeing regularly from both parties.

The biggest difference between 2016 and 2020 is this - Chump hasn't gained a single new voter but he has lost massive numbers of people who are just disgusted with him. Even so-called conservatives, even Republicans (who aren't brainwashed) do not want this man for another 4 years.

So there we have it - Chump is going to cheat unless we stop him. He's already doing it now and it will be stepped up incredibly until November.

Still, I have to hand it to the scumbags who produced the video: they did a superb job -- and I mean that -- of polishing the Turd. If you are a political lowlife, by which I mean a Trumper, you'll get off on it. I really mean that. And if your teetering, it may be enough to totter you into Trump's side of the line. (Of course, if you're "teetering" at this point, you're already a lost soul.)

And that's all very, very scary. It means that skilled people can make even a dull, monotone speaker like the Turd look good on film. It also means that anything said to kiss his ass lest he hurt the people in your State will be used against you.

The run-up to November 3 is going to see a lot of this, some of it off the rails, others more subtle and persuasive. All of it will be proffered to give a false impression of super-competence to the worst president in history. Worse, there will be so much of it that the Dems will be hard pressed to counter even a fraction of it with truth and reason.

Scary, very scary. Turd's propagandists will make Goebbels look like a kid playing with blocks.

the RW conservatives in Senate, House, WH, Tea Party, Faux News, RW Radio, etc. all have been doing this for a long, long time...trying to get their agenda implemented however they can, cheat, lie, reduce voting, implement strict laws, put in their judges, setup their own news channel, radio stations, tv stations, newspapers to spread their agenda, enlist Putin/Russia's help, enlist NRA, make sure down ballots go their way with any cheating necessary, etc. It didn't happen overnight. It was a gradual process, where they did bit by bit to get where they are today. And they want more in November!!!

Unfortunately, not all Americans were reading & keeping up with the news when they are busy with work, school, sports, etc. BUT NOW, since most are under stay at home orders, without sports on tv, they have to see some of the news to keep up with the coronavirus news to keep their families safe. They are worried about their economic conditions, so they have to see the news to see what help they will receive from their government. This provides some thought of how this Drumpf is doing, how their government is doing for their families. Eventually, they will need to reflect on their vote/non-vote in 2016 and come to a decision for their vote in November. This pandemic may have opened their eyes to what has happened to their government due to the Drumpf & Repukes.

The medical health professionals, EMTs, PD, FD, etc being on the frontlines of this horrific virus, have placed their lives on the lines and see daily the deadly tolls - they can only wish for people to stay home. They saw their government not providing for them & their health safety, and decide what kind of government they would like in November.


Right now, all the things this Drumpf says, angers us, but we cannot gather together outside to protest this horrible non-human in the WH. So he continues his WH rallies to keep his flock with him. The more he talks, tweets (I don't like to hear nor read anything from him at all! gets my blood pressure high) - more he attacks the media and others, the more he keeps lying & contradicting himself with earlier statements, the more he talks about himself as doing a great job, can be seen by most now that they are at home and have to think about what's happening. Most people are scared of getting the coronavirus, and this Drumpf's actions are also something they should be scared of as well. We hope & pray that this Drumpf & Repukes do not cancel the November elections. If they do, we need to protest!!

We can only hope that when the country starts to open up, that they do not forget what the Drumpf & Repukes have done wrong!! Some will have lost family members from this coronavirus, so that will provide some thought of the incompetence of this WH! Shutdown small businesses & employees will remember - just they have to remember it was Pelosi & Dems that were looking out for them!!!

Continue to hope that people who have now seen this disastrous WH & Repukes, that they will remember in November and not normalcy fog their judgement!
