Now he says he has the authority to adjourn Congress which under certain circumstances is true. What if Congress just ignores him? or better yet say so sue us!

1. It's not that easy. The Supreme Court has held

that only the Senate — not the president — can decide when it is in session. Furthermore, under the Senate rules that will take consent from Minority Leader Schumer and not unilaterally decided by Moscow Mitch.

6. One other thing:

Article II of the Constitution gives the president the power to adjourn Congress only if the House and Senate don't agree on a date for ending the current session. But they've already agreed - January 3, 2021. So two things would have to happen: The Senate, including Schumer, would have to decide on another date to adjourn and the House would have to disagree with that date.

They can’t even vote to change the date.

So McConnell would have to lead a vote to change Senate Rules to take away filibuster altogether, then Senate majority could vot party line to change date...

Just so they could allow Trump to Constitutionally recess Congress if Speaker of the House doesn’t agree on the recess. And all of that just so Trump can make recess appointments that don’t need to be Sevate confirmed?

I don’t think McConnell sees any political to bring any part of that.

They had someone above the President. Like... someone to look over the rules/laws and if he breaks any of them, dock him for it and if he continues with a hissy fit, to get him out of there as president. I mean... is there someone that is even remotely in that position to do so? I know Congress can vote against his ideas, but as for the way he has been acting since he became president, it's unfortunately there's nothing much we can do about his propaganda show.
