(53,843 posts)back before the 2016 election. Now she's somehow reincarnated as a raging anti-Dem, so-far-left-she-almost-links-hands-with-the-far-right, kook. I don't know what happened to her but something didor she was hiding it pretty well before.
Schultz was in it for the money, a former conservative who shape-shifted to the left for a few years and a paycheck then shape-shifted back right for a different paycheck.
Moore, IMO, has always been a Naderite fifth columnist who always finds fault with Dems. I think he was jealous of Obama.

(24,603 posts)Micheal Moore is the real disappointment. He had the lense and the message back 30 years ago.
He could have had a helluva lot more creds if he had worked to support change in the left direction....even if it was too slow for his personal liking.

(10,243 posts)And the part about "committed to maintaining power for Dems than claiming it for his own movement" reveals a breathtaking degree of political illiteracy...unless the individual writing this is actually a Trump supporter.

(653 posts)When the Establishment fails so colossally all the time, it can turn some people a bit nuts sometimes.
We all respond differently to trauma, however, bashing a traumatized person isn't the wisest thing to do.
I wonder how old some of you posters are, the way you respond.
And you called Bernie Bros rude and crude...sheesh!!!

(22,913 posts)moving the ball forward toward that end. In other words, progress on redressing social ills actually matters to him more than merely staking out a supposedly "righteous" position in the abstract.
Yes, sometimes Bernie has positioned himself in front of a curve that he hopes he can help move toward him, but never so far out in front of it as to become politically irrelevant. THAT is skilled political craft of a sort that too many leftist agitators are incapable of mastering, and as a result too often a realistic leftist vision for America never stands any chance of advancing toward enactment.
Bernie gets attacked from all sides. Some Democratic Party purists tend to anger at the degree of political Independence Bernie maintains. Some Movement purists tend to anger at the degree of cooperation and coordination with the Democratic Party that Bernie maintains. But Bernie cares about both addressing social ills AND winning, because ultimately it takes the latter in order to achieve the former. He gets it and I deeply respect him for that. A Movement that can only divide us when we desperately need to unite in common cause has no power beyond the power to obstruct the progress that lies within our reach.
Fortunately the vast majority of Sanders supporters realize what he is trying to do and fully support his call for unity behind Joe Biden now.
