Some DU help, please: Does any one know anything about FPUC benefits coming from the Federal...

Govt? I received a text that seemed too good to be true, but it did contain a link that went to my state's employment site and it seemed to indicate that an additional $600 a week of emergency unemployment compensation was coming from the Federal Government The site stated:

"The first payable week under FPUC is the week beginning March 29, 2020 and ending April 4, 2020. (If you have already claimed and received regular UI for that week, an adjustment payment will be made)

The FPUC program will automatically add an additional $600 to the weekly benefit amount."

There is no indication that action needs to be taken or any further registration need occur, but if anyone else can verify if it's true or knows what to do to apply, please let me know.

Thank you.

Others have reported they are also. What doesn't seem to be available yet is UI payments for 1099 workers.
