I've been taught that a real leader can do any task, barring disability, the organization requires

If the organization needs a cashier and there's no cashier available, then the leader should be able to hop on a cash register.

If the organization needs a janitor and there's no janitor available, then the leader should grab a mop and a bucket.

If the organization needs a shipping clerk...
