We are an inherently stupid nation - anti-science has been ascendant since Reagan and despite breaks in Clinton and Obama, the Reagan, Bush I, Bush II and Trump administrations have been on an accelerating run downhill in this regard.

They doubt science and believe myth.
They act like they 'know' what to do, in reality they haven't a clue.

This time is different because THOUSANDS are DEAD, MILLIONS are impoverished and there is no true end in sight...sure, NYC may be slowing new cases, but that is not true nationwide...

This disaster SHOULD turn the tide and awaken the spirit of the Enlightenment that inspired our forefathers and led to the Constitution and the idea of America. That idea has been under relentless assault almost from the start...we cannot allow it to be silenced by criminals, thieves and sociopaths.
