But if the result isn't the "right" one (if you know what I mean *wink!*), then the Supreme Court has to step in to make sure the election goes as it should.

MADISON, Wis. — The U.S. Supreme Court blocked a plan to extend absentee voting in Wisconsin’s spring primary by six days because of the coronavirus.
The Wisconsin election is being viewed as a national test case in a broader fight over voter access.
The Supreme Court’s decision came shortly after the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled 4-2 on Monday that Evers lacked the authority to move the election on his own.

Certainly at high court level, Republican judges conclude what will assist Republican objectives, and then hunt for some shred of law they can hang their intended outcome on.

When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."

That Coronavirus-45 was turned loose early in an election year to give it plenty of time to spread and depress voter turnout nationwide--giving Republicans the advantage in their elections.

because there are 5 justices who are wholly owned by the Republican party.

I have no faith in the court. It is a political arm of the Reich wing.
