Questions about the ignore option:

Do you have to be a member to put people on ignore ? (Have the rules changed?) It used to work

for me, but now it is not working.

How long does it take for the ignore option to go into effect ?

I have used the ignore option several times in the last few weeks.

They show up on my ignore function, but I still see the posts.

There are 2 different colors on the ignore function. (Why)

Do I have to log out and log back in for the ignore function to take effect ?

2. Using the 'Full Ignore' option should work immediately. It doesn't affect the Home Page though.

It should hide an ignored user's threads everywhere except the Home Page, and it should hide all of their replies in any thread.

4. There are two ignore options: Full Ignore or Block Mail

Full Ignore (orange):
• Hides all threads from ignored user (except on Home Page)
• Hides all replies from ignored user
• Prevents you from receiving DU mail (i.e. forum private messages) from ignored user

Block Mail (yellow):
• Prevents you from receiving DU mail from ignored user

I assume that is what your reference to two colors is about. If not, let me know. I don't use the ignore function so I may need to do some testing to learn its details better in order to answer anything else.

I have never used the Block Mail function.

I just checked and there are still 2 different colors on my ignore list.

Blue, you have not clicked on it, Purple you have. Those links go to profile pages of the member named there. No matter where on Du you have clicked on their profile, it will show purple on your ignore list.
