The only explanation for him cheerleading hydroxychloroquine is that he already took it. I've thought that for weeks, and just now he said that he *may* take it.

(42,714 posts)I know someone who was given hydroxchloroquine together with other antibiotics. They were hospitalized for a week, but have made it home.
It may not be as effective for everyone, but it isn't snake oil either.

These types of stupid anecdotes are what is driving this nonsense.
There is no - NO - evidence that hydroxychloroquine in combination with AZT or anything else has any effect whatsoever.
In fact, in the largest published results so far - from the charlatan in France responsible for this shit - there is NO therapeutic effect shown whatsoever.

(12,712 posts)I remember reading that they combined hydroxychloroquine with a certain dosage of zinc, (having to do with the absorption of zinc ions in the cells) in South Korea.
I may have to look that up again to see if that has continued to work, not that I could buy anything at all at this point.
