Bill Kristol comment on Trump installing five new IGs.

“The ouster of Atkinson came as the WH announced 5 nominees for inspector general positions.” IG’s are an internal institutional check on misbehavior in the executive branch. The unprecedented replacement of 5 IG’s at once is Trump’s Friday night massacre.

AGs should be IGs.

This is another Friday night massacre in a long string of them.

an iron curtain around his presidency, and there is no one to put a check on him. He may be an idiot, but he has some evil geniuses working for him. (or for the people who pull his strings)

Why would anyone lend their reputations to this unqualified, undisciplined, and unprincipled idiot? He not even an affable idiot. He's abrasive, and he's demonstrated that he'll throw anyone under the bus to protect his bulbous ass. Trump certainly isn't going to help them out after he's run out of office in November, he'll be too busy trying to keep his gargantuan ass out of prison. What do these people stand to gain? The question still stands.......... WHY?
