The English language has a number of colloquialisms that mean "worthless." Phrases like "not worth a damn," "not worth a plugged nickel," "not worth a red cent," "not worth a hill of beans," etc.
I'm starting a new one: "Not worth a Trump promise."

(7,968 posts)I hope our current situation will cause us to stop using the expression "That went viral." I've always hatted the expression because viruses are a very bad thing and it made light of that. Now, maybe more people will agree with me.
