(8,543 posts)1. You should really provide more information - browser, device, operating system.
I find many times that as browsers include more privacy protection, some things will stop working when updates happen because the browser will block tracking content. Usually there are options to selectively turn off some of that protection for trusted sites - but without knowing what your device/OS/browser setup is, people will have a difficult time trying to advise you.

OS 10 Yosemite

(8,543 posts)3. Sorry, I'm not a Mac user. I suggest you post about your issue in DU's Apple Users group.

My guess is that it has something to do with a security setting. In order for me to get tweets to embed here, I need to turn off FireFox's "Enhanced Tracking Protection" for this site.
I would recommend installing another browser (or two) for those rare instances where a website doesn't render correctly in your default browser. And also for troubleshooting issues - if something doesn't work in one browser but does in a different one, you can try to see if some setting is blocking/disabling something.
My default browser (on Windows) is FireFox, but I use Vivaldi quite a bit because the high security settings I use in FireFox break a small percentage of websites. Both of those are free and available for Macs.
On my iPhone and iPad, I normally use iCab Mobile (I think it's $2) with Safari as a backup. iCab mobile has a lot of settings for users to tweak (for those of us that wish to) and has a built-in ad blocker.
Good luck.
Stay safe - on and off line.
ETA: You should also include a link to a DU thread where you are experiencing the issue. That way people can see if it is happening for them too - or try to change some settings to try to recreate it on their computers.
