Cause that egomaniac would take everyone on the golf course into the bar and brag, shake hands and buy drinks.

What could go wrong?

on his twitter feed. No golf on the schedule, but a phone call with Major League Commissioners and a 3:30 pm coronavirus task force briefing.

So at least he gets to cosplay a sports thing.

The NBA was the first to react by shutting down the league after one(!) positive test. MLB suspended opening day indefinitely with only a couple positives, one of which was asymptomatic.
Their not going to open up because of government begging, and there'd be pitchforks & torches if the leagues got stimulus $.
I'm a big sports fans, but these teams are cash cows for owners who (mostly) are billionaires irrespective of the team. They can ride out the loss in revenue.
The NBA (the most progressive major league) is even considering force majeure, pushing outflow down, there's zero need for a bailout.
