BREAKING: Trump will nominate Justin Walker to the DC Circuit. He was just confirmed to the district court in October.

Walker was rated Not Qualified. He had never tried a case. He's intensely opposed to the ACA. Another anti-health care nominee during a pandemic. It's SHAMEFUL.

Remember last month when McConnell flew down to Kentucky with Kavanaugh for the investiture of a new federal judge? That was Justin Walker. That’s how new he is to the bench.
Now Trump wants to reward this unqualified judge with a LIFETIME seat on nation's second highest court.

Walker conducted 162 media interviews in 2018 – including 35 interviews on Fox News alone – defending then-nominee Kavanaugh (for whom Walker once worked as a law clerk).
No surprise Trump and McConnell want to swiftly elevate him to this powerful court.

On Monday, Trump said he will nominate Cory Wilson to the 5th Circuit. Today, it’s Justin Walker to the DC Circuit. Both men are anti-Affordable Care Act. We're in the midst of a PANDEMIC.

And I need to say this: Wilson and Walker (who are – wait for it – both white men) would be Trump’s 52nd and 53rd circuit court judges – serving for life.
Trump has made 50+ appellate nominations, but NONE are African American. Only one is Latinx. 11 are women.
It's appalling.
