Trump is completely unhinged and off the rails. I think he is about to have a breakdown.
Am I the only one who thinks that Dr. Birx looks like she has aged 10 years in the last 21 days?
This is like something out of a dystopian movie.

(3,473 posts)You said one followed up, good. They all need to do this. If he dodges a question, the next reporter needs to ask him to answer that question again and the next and next one until he gives a satisfactory answer or has a breakdown.
I know some reporters and their staff lurk here and maybe even anonymously post here. Come on! Do your job. People are dying. Care more about doing your jobs with integrity than maybe losing your press pass.

(12,600 posts)President Trump defended his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner on Friday for suggesting the federal stockpile of medical resources was not for states, lashing out at a reporter for asking about the comments and accusing her of having a nasty tone.
CBS News reporter Weijia Jiang asked Trump what Kushner meant when he referred to the national stockpile as our stockpile and implied it wasnt for states while appearing at the administration's daily coronavirus press conference the previous day.
You know what 'our' means? United States of America, Trump told Jiang, labeling her inquiry as a gotcha question. We take that our and we distribute it to the states.

...
The administration changed the definition of the Strategic National Stockpile on its website on Friday in a way that more closely matched Kushners description.

(5,955 posts)Fux Noise has conveniently ducked the question of why South Korea is almost back to normal, after an effective government response. But they're not above peddling conspiracy theories that China is lying about being nearly back to normal.
In fact, I don't trust the Communist Party of China to tell the truth. But neither do I trust the American Fascist Party to tell the truth. Cotton is as big a liar and bullshit propagandist as any communist mandarin in Beijing.

(1,537 posts)That question is really not directed at you, its a question for anyone who chooses not to watch those updates. For me, I like to watch him damage his reelection campaign and get him on the public record. No way he'll agree to pres. debates now. He's generating at least two opposition ads per day (get busy Bloomberg, Steyer and Yang!) for when we finally have a nominee. On the record, his words live on TV. I watch live on Free Agenda TV where I can follow along with the live chat.

(15,805 posts)was impressed upon my innocent young brain by my dad. The narrative of Trump's lies, flip flopping, deceptions, disinformation and insecurities have been writ large in obscene details, and I have reveled in the monstrous depths of his incompetence. His disgusting moral failings fuels my rage and gives me the courage to keep focused on his defeat, joining others who have the political power to crush him at the ballot box.
He is my enemy. He tells me daily how he plans to destroy me, everyone I hold dear, and my beloved country. Forewarned, how could I not study my foe. I am not so craven that I need some third party to whitewash and sanitize Trump's vile cruelty or softsoap his idiocy, watering down his tirades for the faint of heart. I take courage in assessing his weaknesses, discovering his soft spots to exploit his many flaws.

(13,571 posts)And supporting our watchdog press at the same time. Reporters covering the WH have no protections since the Correspondents Association ceded credentialing authority to the WH some years ago. Reporters covering Congress have access codified in Senate rules. This WH has brazenly abused the press corps.

(5,955 posts)I can't believe they couldn't stop him. At this point, I'm thinking that even his cabinet is hoping he'll be defeated; and are not doing anything to prevent him from talking his way into an massive election defeat. Putting THIS guy front and center on a life and death issue was about the dumbest political move I've ever seen. I don't mind Trump sending his idiot son-in-law to play in the middle east sandbox, and play games at being a diplomat, like a kid playing with plastic carpenter's tools. But THIS issue effects Americans directly. It's not going to go over well, and that's why Trump is so touchy about it.
Watch Pee-Wee Kushner's reaction to the way he completely f--ked up the Middle East 'peace' plan.

(14 posts)What the press needs to ask is SO WHAT if states didnt stock up on supplies (and no I dont buy this BS argument for a minute)? Even if according to POS45 this is a mistake on the states part, IT DOESN'T MATTER because Americans are suffering and dying. Why place blame NOW when this is a life or death situation that is getting exponentially worse by the minute?! Yes, I know why he is placing blame but those journalists need to start pressing on this: it doesnt matter anymore who is to blame, just get those supplies to our states. I cant believe this BS and he still skates by. JFC. And what reallllllly gets me is that we cant even take to the streets in mass to protest without risking our lives along with all our healthcare workers lives...
