86% of Republicans approve of Trump's handling of the coronavirus crisis.

Nothing, absolutely nothing he can do will ever make Republicans turn on him.

People predict that once deaths start increasing in red areas Republicans will revolt.
I don't believe that. The Republican party now has a true cult mindset which is blind to reality.
They will praise Trump as they lie on their coronavirus deathbeds.

The Republican party is a Jim Jones style death cult and our only hope is that they
- literally - die off.

look at the blase attitude of those red states who refused to take any steps to safeguard public health. That unconcerned attitude will prevail because they believe that Trump is working hard to save them. If other people are dying it will be the fault of democrats or some Asians, and they will continue living in la-la-land, taking pride because they:

1) don't care

2) think it can't happen to them

3) believe it's a Democratic hoax

4) don't think it's much worse than a bad cold

There are zero confirmed cases in my county, and only a handful within a hundred miles of here.

Most people are distancing, but there are a lot of people that think this is overblown bullshit.

It will get here, eventually. And we will be hit hard, because medical resources are scant in even normal times.

DECADES of hate spewed about the evil liberal is what created the environment for them to see a completely immoral, relentlessly corrupt sociopath as their grate savior.

The messaging LONG before the POS took the whip from them was that anything they say or do, no matter how horrible, contradictory, loathsome, is justifiable in the great battle against the liberal.

infecting each other. They really don't think it will bother them much in their southern states.

Of course they're ignoring the face that not much testing is happening in their states. I think things will change dramatically when their states hit the surge of cases and many of them DIE!
