5,102 dead of CV in the US now.

Last edited Wed Apr 1, 2020, 08:39 PM - Edit history (1)

Yesterday evening it was 3,889 dead, and I'm sure it will continue to get higher today. We're approaching a death rate of 1,000 Americans per day.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

There was a huge jump of about 400 dead just in the last couple hours.

If we get out of this and somehow have a bit of a return to normalcy, we'll be lucky. And I feel like every time we might be seeing light at the end of the tunnel, it keeps getting pushed back. I just don't know how much more bad news I can take.

9. If we average 100 per state per day, that's 5000 per day

And 100 per day is nothing in the seriously hit hotspots.

We may see days with five digit death tolls before this is over.

This money money money BS society with the ridiculously over paid on one side, and horrifically under paid on the other, standard bell shape curve, had to go south eventually.... one side just greedy to the sickest level possible?

A country should not be for the outliers?

That is exactly where we find ourselves?

Bringing the MATH to show how ridiculously rich some of these assholes are:

365 days a year, say I live to be 100 years old, that would be great and 36,500 days in that life.

If you gave that person $1000 a day:

That's: 36.5M

Now wrap your head around all the money bantered about..... compared to that figure.

$100 day means 3.65M, still able to manage?

I'm managing on $50/day for 2 people, right now, but just barely.

Jeff Bezos of Amazon if I recall, makes that 3.65M every hour?

DUH, we are a bunch of idiots for accepting poor pay and so is Jeff for still working?

I guess Jeffy just needs a new island or castle or painting and just has to have it?

shaped to the ultra advantage of elites like Bezos the Pharaoh and the misfortune of many others struggling to get by, esp. in the gig economy. It's all corrupted and will take mega effort to unwind, but I hope to be around to see some of it.

Unless some new nonsense appears and puts me right into the mouth of the beast, a hospital?

Good luck!

Avoiding other humans outside of my other 2 completely for as long as it takes to get the vaccine!
Emotionally I am the most hardened of the 3, one just doesn't fucking care as much no more since her husband passed 2 years ago, and my wife remains an enigma after 20some years.

I await her complaint about being referred to as an enigma, like it's a bad thing?
