I love this guy. I grew up with him from fourth grade through high school. He's now a very wealthy real estate developer in South Florida. This was in response to another typical comment about how the poor are ruining my GOP friend's life...

Just thinkin' about this some more (sorry). I just want to ask Connie and Bob and all the other GOP friends of mine...what, exactly, are you so upset about? What do you think President Obama is "trying to do to you?"
If you have health insurance now, you will just keep your health insurance. No change to you. No switching doctors. No paperwork. No nothing. And you won't have to pay for Sandra Fluke's birth control pills. You just go on about your life. NOTHING changes.
So what is your problem with the ACA?
Especially for people me and Bob's age (oh, wait...Bob is so wealthy, he pays for his health care in cash}. I'm the same age as Bob. Under Romney/Ryan plan, I'll get nothing but a Groupon worth far less than what I paid for, what I paid into Medicare my whole life.
Bob won't care. He is fucking RICH. So all the rest of us who've paid into the system can go F themselves. Bob's is rich. If we just stopped taxing him, America (Bob) would be better.
Meanwhile, millions of Americans don't make the income Bob does on one month's worth of interest on the investments he now wants to make tax-free. And yet, Bob is adament that it is all of the poor people (I'm sure lots of them work for him in landscaping and maintenance jobs) who are somehow ruining his life.
Poor Bob. His life is TERRIBLE because some poor people want to take their kids to the doctor. Or want to eat. Poor Bob.
