4. Didn't the second Covid-19 bill passed by Congress cover the cost of testing for anyone who needed it?  ( n/t )

TITLE V--DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

This title provides appropriations to the Administration for Community Living for nutrition programs that assist the elderly.

The title also provides appropriations to the Public Health and Social Services Emergency Fund. The funds are provided for the National Disaster Medical System to reimburse the costs of providing COVID-19 diagnostic testing and services to individuals without health insurance.

9. I think the test is covered by insurance, Medicare, Public Health, etc. But an evaluation by

a doctor might be subject to networks, and all that kind of junk.

I’ve read that some of the big insurers — like Aetna, Humana, Cigna, etc. — are covering out of network costs, coinsurance, etc., for Coronavirus related medical issues in addition to 100% of testing. Better verify before assuming that’s true, though.

had been declined testing due to 'improper insurance,' which should not happen, but this was before new legislation (which hasn't yet been implemented.)
