State Rep. Isaac Robinson (D-Detroit) has died. He was 44.
State Rep. Tyrone Carter (D-Detroit) confirmed the news Sunday evening to the Michigan Advance.
He was my guy, Carter said, adding that he was young, smart and funny.
Carter was the first state lawmaker to announce he tested positive for the coronavirus. He said hes out of the woods and feeling better.Carter said he hadnt seen Robinson for three or four weeks. He had been trying to call Robinson and last received a text on Thursday. Robinson was excused from the last House session on March 17. That lasted around 12 hours as lawmakers negotiated a COVID-19 supplemental spending bill.

(457 posts)Chronic toxicity should be considered when conduction disorders (bundle branch block/ atrioventricular heart block) as well as biventricular hypertrophy are found. Drug discontinuation may lead to recovery (see WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS, Cardiovascular, DRUG INTERACTIONS, and SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT OF OVERDOSAGE).
PLAQUENIL prolongs the QT, PR and/or QRS intervals which may lead to an arrhythmia. Ventricular arrhythmias and torsade de pointes have been reported in patients taking PLAQUENIL (see WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS, Cardiovascular, DRUG INTERACTIONS, and SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT OF OVERDOSAGE).

(457 posts)a brand name of hydroxychloroquine.
I have no knowledge either way. I speculated considering his young age and that he was "out of the woods" from coronavirus infection.
I could be absolutely wrong!!
Carter was out of the woods. He was infected first!

Usually, people die of a severe hemorrhagic pneumonia. When the pneumonia clears, they make a recovery and are "out of the woods."

(457 posts)but considering his age and that he was already "out of the woods", I was simply speculating.
It is why I said "probably" - I have not seen his medical records.
