In rating the Trump administration’s performance dealing with the coronavirus, I would give them a minus 1 on a 1 to 5 star system — equivalent to a meteorite
disintegrating while entering the earths’ atmosphere.
Appointing Vice President Mike Pence to head the response team (based on his past experience and expertise in that area) was analogous, and as inappropriate, as putting him in charge of giving enemas to zoo animals. The team seems to begin their daily briefings with 10 minutes of backslapping one another for doing such good jobs and praising their leader for acting so “forcefully."
