So now, after serving a tour of duty in Vietnam, almost 30 years in law enforcement, I should die?

I should be willing to kill myself for the economy?

You right wing fucking chicken hawk assholes that pretend you are patriots and warriors need to shut yer ignorant cowardly mouths until you have served this nation. Running yer stupid mouths is not serving. I dare you to spend one minute in the breech, on the wire or on patrol.

I’m retired now. I have faced and handled some of the most dangerous people you can imagine. I have had the living shit scared out of me on the dark nights in Vietnam. I will never be able to completely leave that place, I can still smell it. You now want me to die so you can have a couple more dollars? Fuck you asshole(s).

I have never rescinded the oath I took to our constitution when I entered the military and if needs be I will serve again. Where will you be if that time comes?

The money you saved up and put aside for your Social Security,.. forget it. We want to take that money and hand it over to the corporate big shots for there virus bailout giveaway triple bonus payouts and fuel for their yachts and private jets.

You don't have to die just go asleep and stop cashing those old age checks.

obviously think that because they have a mouth that they are above all of us in their high and mighty opinions, and by the way they are crying now about the stock market being in the dumps, and such, that the sky is falling and that all of the rest of us should ignore the peril to our health and well being, in order to get the Dow Jones Index back up again.

Where's the appreciation that when we all did work hard, and got this market to the highest it has been, and staying there, for 11 years or so. Where? Isn't it funny that now they are stabbing us in the back, demanding that we go back to work (despite medical reasons not to, e.g., the coronavirus) to turn things around? Where's the appreciation? I don't any, what-so-ever. All I see is bitching on their part (and rump is part of it too). Such ungrateful idiots.

Although, to be honest, if all of us over 70 or so were to die, it might save Social Security for the younger generation. Just saying.

Your anger is appropriate. And the ones who are asking you and me to sacrifice ourselves, have never made any significant sacrifices themselves. To be honest, I was never in the military (despite my screen name I'm a woman) and I never wanted to be and too many of my high school classmates died or were permanently injured in some way in Vietnam.

... would never in a million years put themselves in danger to "save the economy." They'll be safe and sound (and isolated) in their mansions in gated communities and probably have everything they need to last them for many months, if not years, to come. It's beyond outrageous in a time where so much is outrageous. Just completely and utterly disgusting.

The Trumps are not shy about proclaiming how much they have 'sacrificed'.

Visit to Arlington Cemetery reminded Donald Trump Jr. of all his family's 'sacrifices,' he writes

While the rest of the country (or at least that part that still has a conscience) thanks you for your sacrifice, the monster in the White House could care less.

Lest we forget, in 2017 he expressed his gratitude and condolences to the young widow of Sgt. La David Johnson who was killed in an ambush in Niger. "He knew what he signed up for."

Sad, huh?

We've had 40 years to deal with it here and we just keep letting it get worse and worse.

If we hadn't let propagandists lie all this time, they wouldn't have 1/3 of America in their pocket.

Don't know whether we can do anything now.
