Different parts of the world are testing, and detecting, at such radically different rates, we really have no idea what percent of the world's cases are within our borders.

The big jumps are due primarily to the skyrocketing testing rate in NY and WA... and increasing rates in other states.

... anywhere near reality, the true number of cases in the US is more like 440,000 than 66,000 (they estimate that the number detected is something like 12 to 18% of actual).
