https://www.news4jax.com/news/local/2020/03/25/publix-working-to-install-plexiglass-guards-at-registers/Publix has announced that crews will be installing plexiglass guards at registers, customer service desks and pharmacies at all of their stores.
As first reported by WKMG in Orlando, installations will start this weekend and crews are expected to finish the project within the next two weeks, according to Publix officials.
Customers have been packing the stores amid the spread of the coronavirus.

And I'm so thankful for the good people working there and other public places through this pandemic.

like the supermarkets in the U.K. they can actually sit at their registers. seems like a good idea to me. (also you have to bag your own stuff in the U.K.).

was just there yesterday.
They also put some tape markers down at 6 foot intervals in the aisles between the registers.
