Kinda made me choke up.

I went to a store about a week and a half ago, wearing my mask. This young guy, maybe late teens, was walking with a friend and laughed at me. Yeah, I found it irritating, and really wanted to give him a piece of my mind, but I didn't. I've got a suspicion that in another week or two a whole lot of those scoffers will be trying to find masks.

I found someone locally who is making reusable masks, and I bought a couple. They're made with tightly woven cotton, and a liner. I asked her if she could make some with a pocket for a filter. She's got one made for me, and hopefully will have another made soon. At this point I don't really need any because I'm completely isolated. I've got everything that I need for at least a few weeks.

4. Glad you got the mask. Can't get anything here in NE Fl, looked for plastic gloves, nada.

But like you I have a neighbor and she is making them, will be giving me one.

5. I live in NE FL too and there isn't any hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, gloves or masks.

Those were gone 3 weeks ago and can't be found anywhere. My husband even went to the little ethnic stores, but these aren't anywhere and can't be bought on Amazon either.

6. I found a box of gloves in my garage

I use a lot when I'm painting, etc. I also have food safe nitrile gloves that my son and I use when prepping for family dinners. They're more pricey, but I was thinking that maybe everyone hasn't thought of looking for those instead of the regular kind.
