Drive thru testing FINALLY starting in Orlando. BUT...

Drive-thru testing opens Wednesday at Orange County Convention Center for 65 and older, first responders, healthcare workers
https://www.fox35orlando.com/news/drive-thru-testing-opens-wednesday-at-orange-county-convention-center-for-65-and-older-first-responders-healthcare-workers

A news release on Tuesday said testing will be available for individuals who are 65 years or older who have COVID-19 symptoms and first responders and healthcare workers.

Health officials said those 65 and older must have an on-site temperature of 99.6 or higher and respiratory symptoms.

First responders (firefighters, law enforcement/corrections and medical staff with a valid agency ID) do not have to have symptoms to be tested.

The test site is drive-thru only and will be limited to 250 tests per day, according to the release.

Better than nothing but Gov moRon DeSantis has been a feckless leader

for testing or be referred by your dr. You also have to have a fever of 99.6 or higher to be tested so they are missing the asymptomatic people.

ADT had 2 people who tested positive yesterday, so now they are testing everyone else at the workplace today. My BFF's son works there and she visited with him Sat. She said they didn't touch and she wiped down everything he touched. Hopefully he doesn't have it and hope she doesn't get it. She's 74 and has had a year of hell and has been much sicker than usual I think due to the stress. Keeping our fingers crossed and not visiting each other except through the phone. She's very lonely as her husband and 2 of her sisters have all passed within the last year and her son and I are her main emotional supports.
