If you've got a Democratic Governor or a Democratic legislature, you're not getting the federal help you need, whether the true CV-19 victims are Democratic or Republican voters. Trump will cause people to suffer and die because of the states' voting preferences.

If you're a Trump follower, you minimize the dangers of the virus, and you're likely to get infected more easily than if you're not a Trump follower. So we can expect that Trump followers will have a higher mortality rate.

If you're a non-follower, you will not get the medical supplies you need to treat the symptoms, and you'll have a higher mortality rate.

So the likely conclusion is that Trump prefers a high mortality rate (higher death rate) from CV-19, directly or indirectly. He's making decisions that will inevitably lead to more deaths, and he's doing it intentionally.

So cash-strapped states should order up equipment they don't currently need on a provisional basis and spend money storing it. But Trump dismissed the pandemic task force because there wasn't a pandemic in process and he doesn't like to have people just sitting around doing nothing. As if (1) the task force in the absence of a pandemic would do nothing; and (b) the money to pay the task force members was coming out of his pocket.
