My BFF lives in Los Banos, a small town in central CA, and there's been no tp there for 2 weeks. Her younger brother and room mate drove 4 hours yesterday to get tp, Kleenex, frozen food, thermometer, trying for also alcohol, hand sanitizer, gloves from a friend in Fremont who works at a grocery store. She didn't think she'd be able to get the alcohol, sanitizer or gloves because nowhere has those.

At least here in No. FL. we have supplies we can buy, except, of course alcohol, hand sanitizer, gloves, masks. We are heavily using soap and water, but sure wish we had some hand sanitizer since my husband is still working 4 days a week. At least starting today he's not shuttling people around anymore. I was worried about his exposure! Now they take the loaner cars to the customers and drive the customers' car back. He could really use some gloves, but there are just none around and none can be bought on Amazon either. So, he's safer today than yesterday, but still not really safe.

DeSantis is such a trumpist fool, he's not shutting down the state, is still leaving boat ramp areas and some beaches open. We took our dog to a park and the interior was closed and the trails were closed, but the boardwalk along the river was open and the boat ramps were open. There were quite a few people there, where there usually is almost no one, a few congregating right together (idiot trumpers), others taking care to keep their distance. We, of course, kept far away from everyone.
