Criminal insanity if you go with the definition of A mental defect or disease that makes it impossible for a person to understand the wrongfulness of his acts or, even if he understands them, to distinguish right from wrong.
What really pisses me off is they know that he is fucking mental. That he is unable to manage this without a really bad outcome for many Americans but still they support his bollocks.

As Bertrand Russell once said “Our great democracies still tend to think that a stupid man is more likely to be honest than a clever man, and our politicians take advantage of this prejudice by pretending to be even more stupid than nature made them.” Trump is that stupid though and is mentally unbalanced. Those around him have done great pretending to be stupid for years, but at this point it has gone beyond stupid, they have locked themselves in the asylum with Trump, enabling this rambling, scientifically and economically incoherent rambling to continue, watching on as they know he cannot manage this pandemic and the outcomes of it. At all.

3. True Enough, Ma'am

There is a special interest to the out of the way and the round the corner things of life and letters. Kesey is a fantastic author, who was a 'jock' in a rural high school. He was one of the early apostles of LSD, and his magnum opus, 'Sometimes a Great Notion' is a stirring tale of a small logging firm's resistance to union organizing. It is a marvelous book, a more difficult read than 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', but containing so many everyday scenes and characters brought to such vivid life, and such shrewd psychological observations, it is well worth wading through, despite its quirky politics (and some narrative experiments that do not quite work at times). It has been decades since I read it but as you can see, it remains vivid in my mind.
