I'm still waiting to see where Stacey Abrams fits into all this. She's sharp, well-spoken, a fighter, and a very capable politician who, I believe, happened to be cheated out of the Governor's chair in Georgia by the white powers that be.

His almost weekly trips to play golf have cost taxpayers millions with his inflated prices for food, rooms, and anything else the Secret Service needs to protect him. Then there’s his family. They jet around the world at the drop of a hat, mostly staying in Trump properties or in the most expensive ones they can find—at taxpayer expense because they all have Secret Service protection also.

Trump has probably found other ways we haven’t even thought about to steal from the US Treasury. He doesn’t deserve any more money from us.

There is NO LIMIT to what he will try and pull if he is reelected. If the Rethugs retain the Senate and somehow, nightmarishly pull back the House (anything is possible now with COVID-19 injected as a monster externality), the results could be so dire that it leads to the dissolution of the union by 2040 at the latest, perhaps much sooner.

but I don't think that Trump can afford to appear to be in the way of legislation that "provides relief" to the American people - especially in light of McConnell's tirade accusing Democrats of doing just that.

Trump has to do any and everything if he has any hope at all of getting a second term. Granted, his hard core supporters will accept any reason he gives for not signing, but at some point Congressional Republicans facing their constituents can only provide so much cover.

They and he know they have to do something, and soon.

but only the hardest of his hardcore supporters would buy it which is why (in my very humble opinion), he'll just sign it in the hopes he looks like a hero.

Also, it's virtually guaranteed that Senate Republicans saw this coming and made sure to find a way to get at least a Billion into Trump Inc. using a myriad of shell companies or something.

Trump and munchin will find a way to pressure any business getting money , and will have to give to trumps campaign , like he's done to the wall contractors I suspect, then he can funnel it into his pockets. Both trump and munching will corrupt this stimulus to personally benefit from it.
