He looks, red, flushed and ill. Sounds ill as well. He is once again gasping for air, voice raspy.

(1,076 posts)Plaquenil is contraindicated for statins. Even without statins, it's known to cause serious heart problems, liver problems, and more. But with them? That will not turn out well.
I asked my ex-CRNA mom this morning just how stupid it was to recommend using this stuff willy-nilly, and her reply was a loud and pissed off, "Very!" Of course she was furious that not only someone without a medical background, but also a total idiot in general, was giving out dangerous medical advice. But she did mention some of why it was so stupid, like how it's beyond tricky to prescribe it to diabetics and heart patients, because it is really--really--hard on the heart and liver. Also, it doesn't play well with some antibiotics without careful monitoring, either, and it can cause retinal damage when taken long-term.
Someone mentioned that the Mango MAGAt looks pale. Interesting. Palenquil will do that when it starts breaking down blood cells. It can also make people sweaty, jumpy, irritable, and more.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's taking it, or that a doctor was stupid enough to give it to him to keep his job.
Who knows? Maybe Plaquenil will do the job the repuke Senate and all those toadying Cabinet members wouldn't.
