First, he conflated compassionate use of hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin as a trial treatment, with the production of plasma, which he described not as a passive therapy (as it is), but rather as an "active" stimulant of immunity, like a vaccine.
Then he confused serologic testing for antibodies as a "treament."
He has been doing good work, but he needs to leave these discussions to a medical spokesperson. That was three very serious errors.

(102,342 posts)measuring (and what they are not). And yes, I have heard some physicians acting as "experts" on MSNBC making serious errors in this regard, which I find inexcusable.
