Posted Mar 22, 2020
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Ohio makers have responded to the call to make fabric masks for healthcare professionals during the coronavirus crisis.
Pins & Needles, a sewing store with locations in North Olmsted, Middleburg Heights and Mayfield Heights, on late Saturday posted a YouTube video with instructions. By Sunday at 1 p.m., more than 60,000 people had viewed it.
Theyre just going up by the minute, said Connor Brostek, whose family owns the store.
The Facebook group for mask-makers has nearly 2,000 members.
The store says its been asked to make 10,000 masks in three weeks. But Jan Brostek hopes to make a million.

I can remember as a child, my grandmother "trying" to teach me how to sew, such a patient woman that gave up trying to teach me.
I have a sewing machine and will watch some Youtube videos.
Thanks for the Kick.
