General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWhen we are past this crisis, these are the numbers I would find interesting
# of people diagnosed with this particular strain of coronavirus.
And out of those:
How many were hospitalized with Covid-19
How many died of Covid-19 complications
Compare that with the percentage statistics of the number of diagnoses and deaths due to the yearly flu.
I am pretty sure most people might be shocked into reality.
And, it will also be interesting if they do some research on people who didn't develop this particular strain coronavirus, despite living in heavily hit areas. Could a recent encounter with a more benign type of coronavirus have helped them maintain some sort of mitigating antibodies? PURE SPECULATION on my part. That's just how my mind is wandering, right now.

(26,296 posts)Interesting about the blood type. My sister was type O and she had so many health crisis and was susceptible to everything that came around. I'm A+ and have always been able to fight off anything I've encountered. I went through basic training with a raging bronchial infection - you could hear my lungs rattling - and I didn't miss a step.
However, I'm old and no longer counting on that continuing.

Then say : "See we told you CV-19 was no more dangerous than regular flu. The "Democrat" Party caused the shutdown of the economy for nothing. They panicked unjustifiably and ruined the best economy this country ever saw."
