I often go to a nearby gas station to buy a cup of coffee on my way to the dog park. When its cold out it keeps me warm. Tonight when I stopped by I was told that there is nothing self-serve for now. No coffee, no donuts, no food.
Three days ago the rule was that you couldn't bring in your own cup.
It makes sense, but it is also a reminder of how the simplest, most taken-for-granted things have completely changed.

This came down from corporte, so no one knows why, but it seems to me that my personal cup is safer than the cardboard ones everyone is pawing over.
